I’m Rohit K Bharadwaj, a final-year undergrad student pursuing MSc Mathematics and BE Computer Science at BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus. I will be graduating in July 2022.
I love Computers and Mobile Tech. Hence, during my first year of college, I decided to explore the world of Android development by contributing to various small and big projects on the campus.
Further, in my second year, I explored the field of Machine learning, AI, and Data Science, and have also done a few projects in them; thus, I’m fluent with Python.
In my third year, I got the opportunity to lead a team of app developers to develop the Student Union App (Appstore, Playstore) for Pilani Campus. Being my first large-scale project where I worked and supervised the same, the Student Union App gave me immense joy throughout the project. Moreover, after getting all the positive reviews from my campus students, it motivated me to build more large-scale apps like this.
My goal is to help those without resources and opportunities through my skills and solutions. Programming has always been my passion; thus, I wish to build software solutions that can impact our world. Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies have been successfully applied in various tasks and domains. However, they are still not perfect. Thus I wish to pursue AI and ML research to improve these technologies and build end-user solutions to help others. Due to my own experience, recently, I realized the importance of the human vision. Thus, I wish to specialize in computer vision research and learn deeply to contribute to making the technology even better.
I have a good mix of research and development experience. Thus, I firmly believe that I can contribute to the advancement of research and implement the technology for end-users.
